Some months are better than others, but there’s usually at least one great new game on mobile every month. Let’s take a look at the best new Android games of the last month! Best NEW Games for Android since October 2022

20 minutes to dawn

Price: Free game

20 Minutes Till Dawn is one hell of a top-down shooter. The gameplay is also written in the title of the game. The goal is to survive the onslaught of enemies for 20 minutes. Players get access to upgrades that help increase their options, along with a choice of heroes that give them different skill sets. The game boasts more than 80 upgrades, fast game sessions and simple yet effective graphics. The developer is still improving it, so it should get even better over time.

Charlotte’s table

Price: Free game

Charlotte’s Table is a match-three puzzle mixed with a restaurant simulation. The loop is pretty simple. You play the match-three portion of the game to progress through the game. As you progress, you unlock more and more things to put in your restaurant. You then manage customers to earn more stuff, which you then use for more match-three puzzles. Like most match-3 puzzle games, you’ll almost certainly need help via power-ups to help you get through the later levels. This is doable without buying anything with real money, but it gets annoying. Overall, this is a decent game in this genre.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke

Price: Free game

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is a mobile gacha RPG with some shooting elements. The gacha stuff is pretty typical. You summon characters, pick them up and use them in battle. Combat is where things are kind of clean. Your characters duck and shoot enemies instead of fighting them with swords like in traditional gacha RPGs. Only the combat mechanics separate this one from the pack as different and fun. There are a lot of complaints about game optimization issues, but we think they should be resolved eventually.

My cat tiles

Price: Free game

My Cat Tales is another match-three puzzle game. It boasts thousands of levels that get more and more challenging as you progress. In addition, you can collect cats for your house, which you also get to decorate. It’s not the deepest game on mobile, but the cats are cute and the mechanics are simple. Some other features include offline support, the ability to interact with your unlocked cats, and more. Again, it’s not a complicated game, so we recommend it to those looking for something a little more laid-back.

Some Golf

Price: Free game

Neko Golf is an anime themed golf game. Plays reasonably well for the game of golf. It uses a drag and click style of play where you time your finger movements to get the best distance and accuracy. There’s also a lot of top-notch animation and storytelling that you’d expect from an anime. There is online PvP, but like most online PvP, it’s not great. Enjoy Mode is much more fun, especially if you just want to hang out and play golf. There were some connection issues when I first started the game, but they seem to have been fixed now.

The Panilla Saga

Price: Free game

Panilla Saga is another gacha RPG, but this one is a bit more typical of the genre. You collect characters, make them stronger and use them to fight the enemy. The fight is nothing special. Use your character’s abilities to wipe out enemies and progress through the game’s story. What it lacks in originality, it mostly makes up for in execution. It’s a great example of what a modern gacha RPG should be on mobile, just don’t expect anything terribly new or unique from it.

The Past Within

Price: $2.99

The Past Within is a cooperative puzzle game. This means that you absolutely must have two people playing the game at the same time, and each person must have their own copy of the game. One player plays in the future and the other plays in the past. Together they solve puzzles and advance the story. The game is also available for PC, Mac, iOS, and is also coming to Nintendo Switch.

It is cross-platform, so you can play on any platform you want. The only downside to the game is that it can be completed in about two to four hours, depending on your pace of play. We think it’s worth $3 because it’s a lot of fun, but don’t expect to spend months just playing through it.

Road to nowhere

Price: Free game

Path to Nowhere is a strategy RPG with gacha elements. The gacha part is typical, so we won’t waste time explaining it again. The strategic part is more interesting. Place characters on the battlefield and they defend their position against enemies. Combat is mostly automatic, but you can make a few decisions to help things along. The game has a lot of fan service, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your preference. Still, the execution is good, the story is decent, and the voice acting is above average for a mobile game.

Rent please

Price: Free game

Rent Please is a real estate management simulator. You manage a building with apartments in them. This includes making sure the property is pleasant, as well as getting to know your tenants and helping them with their problems. In addition, you have two maps to choose from, a private house that you decorate yourself, and more. It’s about as good as a landlord management simulation can get, although we’d like a little more customization and depth.

Summoners War: Chronicles

Price: Free game

Summoners War: Chronicles is the latest game in the Summoners War franchise. This is an action RPG where you roam the world, fight bosses, do quests and the usual action RPG stuff. The game takes place in the Summoners War universe, so fans of the series should recognize many of the characters and locations. There are also over 350 monsters to collect, a few different game modes to play with, and things to do like mining and hunting for supplies. It was up and down to begin with, but seems to be much better after a few updates.
